The Manila Yacht Club and the Club de Yates de Acapulco are pleased to announce the preliminary notice of race for the Acapulco-Manila Galleon Commemorative Regatta In conjunction with the 1998 Philippine Centennial Independence Celebration.

The Regatta starts from Acapulco, Mexico on 14 January, 1998, and arrives in Manila, Philippines on 29 March, 1998, with intermediate stops in Honolulu, Guam, and Mactan-Cebu. Interested yachts, mono/multi-hulls, racers, and cruisers (minimum 40 ft.) may send their inquiries to:
