The China Sea Race 1998
An ocean race of approximately 570 nautical miles from Hong Kong to Subic Bay, Philippines, starting at noon on Tuesday, 7th April, 1998, jointly organized by the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club and the Manila Yacht Club, Philippines. Prizes will be awarded to individual yachts and nominated national and/or yacht club teams each of three boats in IMS, CHS, and PY divisions (i.e., yachts which enter the PY division may sail only in the PY division).

The 2nd President's Cup Regatta 1998 (Philippines)
A six race, five-day sailing regatta from 14th to 18th April, 1998, organized by the Manila Yacht Club and co-hosted by the Subic Bay Yacht Club. Prizes will be awarded to individual yachts and nominated national and/or yacht club teams each of three boats in IMS racing, CHS racing, CHS cruising, and PY divisions (i.e., yachts which enter the CHS cruising and PY divisions may sail only in one division). Prizes will be awarded for individual and overall line honors.
China Sea Series 1998 prizes will be awarded according to CHS and IMS division results to the top three nominated teams and individual yachts that have taken part in both the China Sea Race 1998 and the 2nd President's Cup Regatta 1998.
