Mimu Emilton was late on the day of her audition to be an Excellent Idol. It is her childhood dream to be like the Legendary Idol Yuri. In her rush, she bumps into Actress Idol Ruka, who advises her to Smile during her audition; and later on into Sexy Idol Corvette, who recommends Rhythm. Mimu then gets in the middle of a fight between Rock Idol Layla, who insists that it takes Guts to be an Idol, and Elegant Idol Extra, claiming that Dignity is the key.

Her next encounter is with Palpu, the Kung-fu Idol. Her martial arts moves are in stark contrast to her motto: Relax. And just before the audition hall closes, she meets Ninja Idol Shion, counselling her to have Spirit. Just as she starts to sing her song, Mimu begins to wonder: What *does* it take to be an Idol?
