OUR QUIRINO FARM

This is a view of the front side of the property
from the new road going to the house. The yellow
structure outside belongs to a "mag-iitik",
one who breeds ducks. Beyond the banana trees on the
left is the water well.

Even the caretaker's house has been
over grown with cogon. What used to be his vegetable
patch in the foreground has disappeared under the
cogon.

Before leaving, we were able to harvest 5 bunches
of bananas ("saba" variety). A friend is
offering 200 sucking of "lacatan" bananas,
a sweeter and leaner variety. We have to pick it up
in Tagaytay though and bring it and plant it within
one week of gathering.
