December '97 at the Hotel Rembrandt in Tomas Morato, Q.C. Gary was visiting together with his friend Mark. A far cry from the chicken feet we used to enjoy at Del's home.

Of course, this was in December '87 during the lantern parade. Many
a hearts were broken when our lantern did not win. BOO HOO!!! Can anyone
remember the hit song we were singing during the parade? I remember Herman
not being able to sing "There she was just a-walking down the street,
singing doo daa dee dee dee dum dee dee doo" hehehe. Of course, the
infamous remark came from Dr. Ramos: "hindi anatomical".

weren't so fat then ..... If we have the chance to diet again, tell me,

I don't know if you guys remember this but it certainly brings back
a lot of memories. I guess by now you're wondering what's wrong with this
picture. With the help of Photoshop, it's now black and white. I wanted
to have a sepia effect but we're not that old. And no, I didn't do any
special effects on Herman and myself.
Our first feature for UPCD alumnus in focus is Dr. Noel Vallesteros. He is currently the director of the Pediatric Dentistry Center (PDC). He is also the first dentist to take and pass the specialty boards examination offered by the Philippine Pediatric Dentistry Society, Incorporated. Many remember Noel for his performances during school programs where he displayed his dancing abilities. He continues to display his dancing prowess on special occasions but managing the PDC is now his priority. The PDC offers a 9-month externship training program on pediatric dentistry. And yes, Dr. Noel remains a rabid fan of Madonna.
